Run for our Furry Friends
Some people run for their physical health, some run for fun, and some run to help save lives. This August 3, 2025, the proceeds of The Windmill Run-Pet Run segment will help improve the lives of the dogs and cats in the Tails of Freedom Animal Haven.
Tails of Freedom Animal Haven is a non-governmental organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes dogs and cats from Luzon, Philippines. It is based in Sabutan, Silang, Cavite, and rents a 2000 sqm land for PHP 12,000 per month.
Ma’am Aileen is the shelter’s remaining volunteer from when it started in 2019. She and her team of four helpers keep the shelter going through the help of donations and their own pockets.
They rescue dogs and cats from different parts of Luzon and rehabilitate them. As the dogs and cats reach 300, they are highly encouraging people to adopt their rehabilitated furry friends.

You may also help when you join Acienda’s 1KM Pet Run on August 3, 2025 for only PHP 850. It already includes a singlet for the human, a bandana for the pet , time-keeping, food, and beverages at the end of the race.
Route: Around Acienda Designer Outlet, Silang, Cavite
Gun Start: 6 AM
*Veterinarians will be checking the pets’ condition before and after the race.
