ARMSCOR Gun Show: Understanding Responsible Firearm Ownership

The ARMSCOR Gun Show is happening at Acienda Designer Outlet’s West Plaza from September 17 to 20, 2026.

Armscor, officially Armscor Global Defense Inc., is the oldest and largest firearms and ammunition manufacturer in the Philippines. The company has been part of the country’s firearms industry for decades, manufacturing firearms and ammunition for various markets.

Alongside the Gun Show, the event also featured an LTOPF Caravan held on September 17–18, in partnership with the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU), and Police Regional Office (PRO).

The caravan highlighted an important part of firearm ownership in the Philippines: acquiring a firearm involves completing the required legal process and securing the necessary license and clearances. For individuals applying for a License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF), requirements include a neuro-psychiatric examination, drug test, gun safety and responsible gun ownership seminar, and police clearance, among other applicable documents and qualifications.

The LTOPF process is designed to ensure that applicants meet the requirements established under Philippine firearms regulations before they can legally own and possess firearms. Requirements and procedures may vary depending on the applicant, so applicants should coordinate directly with the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO)
